A clear path from injury to performance

You always know where you are in your recovery, what comes next and why. Four phases, measured at every step.

  1. Assess

A 60-minute evaluation of strength, mobility and movement patterns to find what is really driving the pain, not just where it hurts.

  2. Treat

Hands-on therapy, electrical stimulation and targeted exercise to calm symptoms and restore the range you need.

  3. Rebuild

Progressive strength and power work in our rehab gym, adjusted every week to how your body responds.

  4. Return

Sport-specific drills and objective testing, then a long-term plan so the injury stays in the past.

Online now

Hi! I'm Emma, one of the physical therapists at Apex Recovery. How can I help?

I strained my calf on a trail run last weekend. Should I rest or come in?

Sorry to hear that. Calf strains respond really well to early, guided loading, so I'd recommend an initial evaluation this week rather than full rest. Want me to find you a time?

Yes please, Thursday afternoon if possible.

Good to know before your first visit

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Colorado allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book with us without a referral. Some insurance plans still ask for one, and we'll let you know if yours does when we verify your benefits.

Do you take insurance?

We work with most major PPO plans and offer clear self-pay rates for everyone else. We check your coverage before your first appointment so there are no surprises.

What should I bring and wear?

Wear clothes you can move in, like shorts and a t-shirt, and bring your running shoes if your injury is sport-related. Bring any imaging reports or surgical notes you have.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the injury and your goals. After your evaluation you'll get a plan with an expected timeline, and we re-test regularly so you can see your progress.

Do you work with non-athletes?

Absolutely. If you want to move without pain, hike with your kids or get back to the gym, you'll get the same performance-focused care as our competitive athletes.
